Title: Project Manager, Clinical Trials

POSITION SUMMARY

VIDA, a lung and respiratory intelligence company, is scaling quickly to meet the continued rising needs in the healthcare industry from trials to treatment.  We are looking for a candidate with previous radiology and/or medical imaging experience to leverage as a Clinical Trials Project Manager, managing all aspects of VIDA’s imaging core lab activities for assigned project(s) for VIDA’s pharmaceutical partners and trial sponsors.

The Project Manager is responsible for the oversight, trial-specific training, and coordination of staff supporting assigned trials. They are responsible for understanding and implementing a wide array of CT scan analysis and quality control processes at VIDA.  This position is also accountable for maintaining professional and prompt trial sponsor and site-specific customer support. Project management includes ensuring timely scan analysis deliverables and facilitating feedback to ensure efficiency and quality objectives for their team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Proactively manage project level operational aspects of VIDA’s trial services for assigned trial(s)
  • Oversight of customer support activities for clinical sites and sponsors such as: site training on CT acquisitions, site support for quality control of scan acquisition, communications with Imaging Safety & Quality Committee
  • Management of trial-specific CT analysis training procedures
  • Performance of CT original scan analysis and peer review analysis
  • Assist the Clinical Trials Manager in the implementation of quality control workflows
  • Responsible for responding to customer support inquiries, as needed
  • Responsible for meeting standards of analysis quality and efficiency, as defined by VIDA
  • Responsible for attending continuing education to improve understanding and quality of CT scan analysis
  • Present at kick-off meetings and investigator meetings
  • Track and methodically justify deliverables for the purpose of accurately reporting month-end invoice procedures
  • Maintain dashboard of analytics for internal and external audiences and reporting

  • Previous project management experience

  • Experience with Salesforce.com CRM Software
  • Experience with Clinical Trail management
  • Imaging experience with computerized tomography (CT) scans (including but not limited to: Imaging Manager, Imaging Administrator, Radiology Technician, Imaging Researcher, CT Information Technologist)

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor of Science, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, Radiological Science, Biomedical Engineering or related; or equivalent experience in medical imaging.
