POSITION SUMMARY
Software Engineers will work in a dynamic and ever changing environment. Each day will come with unique and challenging problems from both internal and external customers. As part of a small team, you will have the ability to influence product success by designing, implementing and maintaining the software product line. VIDA offers a fast paced, agile culture with a focus on delighting the customer and helping improve pulmonary care.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Develop new features and functionality for the LungPrint product line
- Develop new features and functionality to support VIDA’s Core Lab
- Debug, maintain, and improve VIDA’s existing code base
- Learn about the health care industry and how VIDA fits in.
- Learn and adhere to software development best practices

Skills And Experience
Must
● Familiarity with development tools such as Visual Studio, Jira, Git or others
● Python or C++ expertise
● Knowledge of software design concepts and patterns
● Good communication skills
● Eager to learn
● Must be self-motivated, goal and detail oriented
● Flexible and adaptable to changing work environment
● Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time efficiently
Desired
• Experience in Medical Imaging and healthcare (DICOM, HL7, FIHR, etc.)
• Experience with Docker or other container technology
• Experience with large enterprise software deployments
• Experience with cloud infrastructures and/or cloud computing services
• Experience in cross-platform development (CMake)
• Experience with C#, .NET, WPF, WCF
• Experience with SQL or other database technology
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- BS degree in CS, EE or scientific discipline
- 0-5 years of industry experience
Language Requirements:
The primary language of VIDA Diagnostics is English.
